My name is Jason Durish, and for me, creating branding and packaging design is a sensual experience. It’s intimate. It requires close communication on a deep level. It works best when both parties put the needs of the other first—and when it’s good, everybody ends up pleased.
It’s a romantic profession that I’m in. My job is to develop brands worth falling in love with. That takes gentleness and imagination. It takes the right kind of touch. And it takes full engagement of the senses.
I do all of this as an art director based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I’ve been doing this for more than two decades, and have experience with domestic and international markets for Fortune 500 companies and startup ventures. My approach to my clients’ brands is totally collaborative. I work with my clients to ensure I hear what they’re saying to meet their needs. What I want is to deliver something you’ll swoon over and something your own clients and customers will find themselves instantly attracted to. Seeing a client get excited over their branding is my ultimate satisfaction.
